Eggs

OK, so we are all still alive! Just been awhile since I have had a few minutes. :) The girls went camping on Thursday night with Nanny and Poppy and Nate is at the lake for STAG weekend so it is just Brax and I. He is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for the moment so I am free. Later this morning, we are meeting Chelse and Tylee and then heading over to Farlington to pick up Nanny and Poppy and the girls. Then we are heading back to the St. Paul area to a small pumpkin patch over there. I think the kids will enjoy that! I will have pictures to post tomorrow. I am hoping to get some good ones.

I do have a couple of cute stories - one on each kid. The other night I was lying in bed with the girls and Brecca told me, " Mom, you are the best mom in the whole world." Then she stopped for a second and said, "Well, maybe not in the whole world because I don't know all of the moms in the whole world, but your the best mom I know." I said, " So I'm not the best mom in the whole world?" and she said " No, but your the best ole mom in this whole town! " Always thinking!

Braylee has been overly concerned lately about where babies come from and the whole "they come from a mommy's tummy thing" or "they come from God," just isn't cutting it anymore. She wanted to know WHERE they come from. I finally told her that a mommy has an egg inside her belly and when she gets married then God turns the egg into a baby. So now Miss Braylee is all concerned about HER eggs in her belly! We were eating at Taco Johns the other day and out of the blue she asks, "Mom, am I in charge of my own eggs?" I about spit out the drink of pop I had just put in my mouth but was able to tell her, "Yeah Bray, I guess you are in charge of your eggs." I have to remind myself frequently that Braylee is only 3 and not 30! :)

Well, everybody knows Brax is a man of few words so stories on him are kinda limited! The other night we were at El Pueblito in Parsons and the waiter brought Brax a pop. I told Brax to tell the man Thank You. So Brax says thank you and the man says "Por Nada." Brax just looks at him in a confused way and says "Oooo - day (okay)." Maybe you had to be there but it was definitely cute at the time!

Hopefully there will be pictures to come tomorrow!
